This is Katja, better known as "Schmoo" around our home. Katja is one of those
rare dogs you have the pleasure of knowing or owning once in a lifetime. What
personalities she has... (yes, plural). One really has to hand it to my wife for her
dedication to the sport and her dedication to training and titling Katja. Katja is not
out of working lines, but through hard work and perseverance Jill and Katja earned
Sch B, Sch I and Sch II and retired her as such. I can't begin to tell you just how
much work was put into Katja. Although her bite work had a little to be desired, a
dog that loved bite work more, you'll never find! Jill and her Schmoo are poetry in
motion during the obedience routine, just an absolute pleasure to watch. Tracking?
We wont go there, Jill is still somewhat traumatized from it all...
